Not sure if the media is right but

Whatever you had to say gets lost with those words.  Shut off your TV and live a better life.

Statistically speaking as more people move South and inflation, weather damage costs will always climb.

I love how the weatherman blames la Nina for the bad weather in the video.

After reading this thread I wonder if the fires out west were started by home owners trying to cash into their insurance. I could see a home owner who owes more on their mortgage than the house is worth starting a fire. All they would have to do is pick the right spot to start a fire and hope it takes their house down.

Or maybe the fire just burned their house down?  Sheesh, you guys are always so negative about people's motivations. :)

Now look who claims to know everything. :)  There are all kinds of people on this planet, some are nice, some are mean, some are dumb, some are smart.  However, no two people are exactly the same; humanity is a very complex group.  Are you sure you're feeling alright?  You seem really down, I've shot you a PM but you haven't responded.

I'm agreeing with raptorkid on this one on the sole basis that he at 12 probably has more experience with
real life than you at 13.

NASA family is not 'employees' only. The NASA family is NASA, their supporters, anyone that watches
a shuttle launch etc.

I truly, honestly believed that nobody could be gullible enough to think of emergency preparedness as
something sinister.
