Bear,
I think that you are over simplifying Guppy's intent. As, I said previously, it is everyone's $15 to spend the way they chose. What does get me worked up is a great group of guys doing a joint operation, learning to work together for a goal and achieving success.

I can fly single minded to shoot drones offline and the Dueling Arena presents plenty of furball action.
It does seem that something must be a bit out of whack, if the system designed to give players a reason for combat, comes in second to looking at a map and determining where the biggest red dar bar is. Then again, a long day at work, or night in the pub, may have used up it's share of brain cells needed to decode anything past that. Hopefully, the latter.

Why does it matter? As the title of the thread refers to "Balance of Power," in the 3 chess piece game that we have, unproportional weakness in any one team, collapses the pyramid, shifting balance one way or another. Since not choosing to play the chess game is simply a choice and it is not really a weakness, but maybe even passive aggressive behaviour, I use the term weakness metaphorically to illustrate how 2 countries may actually unintentionally roll over another country.
Now Guppy, if you understand that even by not participating in the country politics of which bases to attack, simply flying to a fight "just because" still has its effect on all 3 countries.
