Also, remember when comparing armor penetration tables from different sources, make sure you read the tables to see what angle the armor was at when fired upon. Usually, the armor is at 30 degrees or at 0 degrees.
While on the subject of armor angles, people get really PO'ed when their tank bounces rounds off an enemy tank and they forget the basics of armor. Just remember folks, that data you read is not absolute unless the conditions are perfectly recreated on the battlefield. Recently, I was in a Firefly and bounced 2 rounds off a M4/76mm hull and the T34/85mm next to me bounced 10 or more (so he said) off the same target. First, the M4/76 was 2200-2300 yards out and secondly he was not squared up to us. On my 3rd shot I hit his turret and disable him. The amount of cussin' and blaming HTC for things gets kind of annoying.
