Can we stay on topic now?

I  meant seeing servers from within Aces high.

I WAS ASKING THE DEV TEAM? will it be possible to see all available server choices ?
What I like about H2H is that paying customers will have a choice to select any server settings they enjoy instead of being limited to one style of play.

This opens up the door for a more divers crowed and more of a customer base obviously...Its inclusive not exclusive.

I don't think that wanting a choice is some horrible agenda Krusty, but I do think censoring free choice as you do is, especially when one pays to play..

I am simply stating facts in reared to Hyper lobby's base preference in relation to their eruo and US player base.. I?m sorry you cant see that..

In regard to flying Il2 I do still fly it along with 3 other sims....on a regular basis...Because of that  I have more than one point of reference to pull from.

I do not limit my knowledge to only one online sim like you do. Take your head out of the sand.  You have an  extremely limited perspective in other words..  your limited in your thinking because you have limited yourself to one online sim.

This post is about the ability of players to view all available H2H servers.

If you have issue with  me then PM me.  Don't hijack or derail  the tread.

Quite the opposite. I can't stand that soem are cramming their opinion down my throat at every turn.

As far as cramming some thing down your throat How do you think I feel? Why don't you learn how to share...  I have no choice but to fly icon servers.
Your view is oppressive and dictatorial Now I see why they built the mayflower..

 I'm a paying customer and I'm asking a reasonable question .

I dont get the big deal. When H2H comes back , just run your own room and put "No Icons" in the title. Then people will know there are no icons. The old H2H gave the room operator complete control if i recall, so the new icon settings should be available to the person setting up the room. There is a very small minority of people who will be interested in that kind of play. Chances are you guys are going to have to schedule times to have fights. I highly doubt you'll be able to find a populated room with icons turned off. You'll have to make your own, and invite people to play.

First off, if you want to ask the development team a question you should email them.

Second any info on H2h is all speculation. All HTC has said is that they are working to bring back a h2h type setup for subscribing customers. Everyone posting here knows better than to ask questions of what is coming next and when. HTC has always.been very quite with any of their development with the game and only announce stuff when it is ready.

I'll just quietly sit back and wait until HTC releases the player-spawned arenas.  I would speculate that they will list them like they currently list the HTC-hosted mains; perhaps with a separate list as to not clutter the main arena screen.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

That would be nice

HT has indicated in a couple of other threads that options are up to the h2h host.  so I guess things like icons, wind, limit planeset to goons will be up to the host.  I am pretty sure there will be a list of public servers and some others that will be listed but will be by invite only.  just be aware most likely you won be able to have sharks with fricking lazer beams attached to their heads.  so that pony with 10 cannons most likely will not be possible.

aces high h2h will not be any different that all the others, when it comes to providing a list.  I have never played nor I have intention to play unless there's a squad thingy going on.  I just hope it doesnt go the way of the ww1 arena.

Raven,

If I recall correctly, the H2H servers came up completely separately from the Main Arena Server's splash screen.  In the past, the host's name, number limit for players, players logged in, descriptions such as "FFA" (stood for free for all no killshooter enabled) .... all were displayed the same way that we currently see the Main Arenas listed (maybe some slight differences).

Fugitive,

To be fair to Raven, I don't recall there being an email address listed for H2H or any development team, but there is this cool link to a picture of the creator of the game in a loop maneuver with a real P51 Mustang. http://www.hitechcreations.com/HiTech-Creations/Customer-Relations/gameinfo-aboutus-art.html

Now for my own wishlist hijack, along the same line.  I once asked if map could be identified on the splash screen for the Main Arenas.  I felt this would help me to choose my downloads from the homepage rather than by auto download.  This would be useful for H2H as well, considering a wider range of maps would be in use.

I believe kazaa is working on a top secret project but if it means the few and the muppets can endlessly pwn each other 24/7 and argue amongst ourselves for eternity without the inconvenience of the MA or the forum, then it will be much fun.

Those brave enough to enter the ring would also be very welcome.

HTC is a small company, everyone THERE is part of the development team. An email to any one of them would have gotten a reply. As for what that reply is, who knows. HTC plays all game developments very close to the vest.

The reason I said for him to email them is because anything posted here, other than by an HTC staff member (and they almost never answer these types of questions publicly) would be purely speculation. The old way was to have a H2H heading on the arena list. Click it and it gave you a list of servers available. Most people named then in a way so that you knew what type of playground you were steping into. As for how the new ones will be handled, nobody knows because they will all be on HTC's servers, and no longer hosed by players. You may not even have as much flexablity with the arena setting as they did in the old days. HTC may want to keep a tighter control on everything involved with it so it CAN'T get out of hand this time.

Who knows, only time will tell. The same speculation went on for years about Combat Tour. It may be the same for this as well, it depends on how it all works out.

Thanks for the explanation Fugi.  I agree that we do speculate a lot about things we have no control over.  :lol

I did enjoy Raven's graphics and information about what is out there.  Who knows, it might actually be a useful tool to promote AH2 to players of other games that may not have heard of it.  Well, anyhow, I have known Raven for a while and we agree and disagree on things.  He has never been someone that didn't tell me what he was thinking.

So, I am pretty sure that his curiosity about the splash screen was genuine, and I hope that HTC doesn't get burried with emails about wishlist items.  Mainly because I just sent them an email to explain that I need to get to the bank today to continue my subscription.   I sure hope that email doesn't land on someone's desk after hours of answering wishlist emails.   :bolt: 2 1/2 hours before the bank opens...........
