perk contracts.
« on: July 17, 2011, 08:40:52 AM »
Ive been played black ops lately, and as bad as the game sucks, i do like the contract system in it.

so how about a contract system in AH?

For those who dont know what the contract system is: in BLOPS, a contract it where you agree to do something in a set amount of time, and get rewarded game $$$ for it. You have to buy the contracts.

examples are "get 6 kills with the famas within 10 minutes" or " get 50 kills with a sniper rifle within an hr"

I'd like there to be contracts in AH, to be accepted to attempt in the MA's.

could be things like "get 4 kills in the LW arena with a p40B within an HR. reward:20 fighter perkies"
or "be the goon that captures a base, then prevent that base's town from being assaulted for 30 mins. reward: 10 bomber perkies, 40 fighter perkies".

or" achievement [set amount of bomber damage] in one sortie with [set bomber type]. reward: 10 bomber perkies"

contracts would have to be bought, and the price of the contract would be half what the reward would be.

like say a contracts reward was 40 perkies, you'd have to pay 20 perkies to Attempt the contract.

and if you fail the contract you were attempting, you lose the original price of the contract again.

just an idea  :salute Tear it apart if you wish fellas.

Why? its alredy in the game. Plus its lame, arcade-ish in my dictionary.
Up a boston, drop 3-4 town centers, 10 bomber perks. Do a suicide mission against a cv, 20+ perkies in 5 mins.
Just saying, the most perks i could ge within a hour was 93. 12-kills sortie in a g6, mostly spixteens and ponies, supported with a perk bonus of 1.5. No need for this arcade feature.

Because not everyone is a super uber stick debrody who can earn 92 perkies in one sortie. especially the casual play.

I don't misunderstand.

You want a 'cool' element found in Black Ops, similarly implemented in Aces High.

Like I said, kill it. With fire.

Thats not comparing the 2, like you stated.
Thats saying "hey, this worked out in blops, maybe it could be implemented into AH".

I still dont understand the obsession with perks.  if you have been here for a while and you dont have enough perks to fly whichever plane you want, you need to get some skill.  I am as dumb as it can be when flying an airplane and yet I have more than enough perks to fly whichever airplane I want for the next year and I earned them flying low eny planes.  fly spit8 or ponyd land 10 kills earn 2 perks, if that  :rofl.

you dont want me to ho, dont point your plane at me.

Best way to solve "perk" issues IMHO is whenever a perk ride is shot down, whoever did the killing gets the "FULL" perk price for what the "killed" payed for said ride.

IE: If I paid 240 points for a jet and you killed me with a jet then you get 240 ponits! If you killed me with a "proxy" goon kill then you get 240 points! If I get killed by puff, then whoever is closest gets 240 points!

Simple, rewarding, frustrating, exhilerating, tense, and very "in your face" when you win.  :aok  I like it  :rock
