Tyrannis seems to want a more strategic game in AvA.

He's not alone in that.

If we had a consistent population then we would never worry about milk running and porking, as there would always be enough people to choose their own style of game play and have opponents.

The best we can do is create the opportunity, but try to steer it to the evening prime time hours so that one or two people can't go in and roll the whole map when the arena is otherwise empty.

Great map and planeset fellas!  Wish I had more time to fly this one before you change it, but I'll be tied up most of this week.

I was looking around in awe when I got bounced by a Hurri and a LA5...LOL

I wish this setup would run for another week or two. The map is excellent, the weather is awesome and the setup is competitive!

Yeah... the clouds, especially down low and in the hills made for some interesting fights, especially when occasionally disorientated (ala graveyard spiral) upon losing both visual and instrumental on the horizon while also performing acm.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.

Arena got hosed and was screwed up for Wednesday night.

Some changes were made in the new version that I had to figure out before I could fix it.

The arena is set back to the last known status with the allies winning.

If the Axis doesn't want to accept defeat better start capturing some cities.

NOTE:

If there are any patches tomorrow, arena will likely get scrambled again and might not be fixed until a new setup is loaded Friday.

The setups are generally competitive.  The AvA is one arena that is great for teaching a variety of rides *in a competitive* setup. It allows you to push the edge of the envelopes that's not quite as punitive as in the MA with mismatched planes. This then can transfer over to the MA, where you're able to better utilize whatever ride it is vs whatever you encounter.

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
