You mean the P-51? The Blue Angels are the naval acrobatic maneuover squadron.
Thunderbirds are the Marines acrobatic maneuover squadron.
Both do airshows, but I think it would be the Thunderbirds since the pony wasn't a naval craft. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

Okay, you're wrong.

The Blue Angels represent the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps. The Blues always have one Marine aviator flying with the team. The Marine Corps belongs to the Department of the Navy.

The Thunderbirds are the Flight Demonstration Team of the United States Air Force.

That is correct!  The USMC, being part of the USN, fly as Blue Angels.

the Thunderbirds are USAF.the Blue Angels are USN.

Thunderbirds fly F-16s and the Blue Angels fly F/A-18s
