« on: July 20, 2011, 02:51:20 PM »
me the wife n my sister n her husband went ona id say 5 mile ride to one of the biggest mountain in our vicinity. we were walking up the mountain and got about halfways up id say about ehh....1600ft. anyway we were sitting down spying with binoculars at our beautiful land, we had west winds n low clouds, i had my itouch playin full blast and i sensed sumtin staring at us n closeby-so i look back and theres a friken bear face about 10ft from us! oo crap i was thinkin not panicking-half second later i see to our right about 12 ft from us a 2nd bear!! ooohhno!! these r frkn cubs! OOO CRAP!! i started panicking-wheres the momma!!??!! lol. we all got up n started walkin back down the mt. when we almost reached our 4 wheelers we saw that the momma  bear was about 100ft from where we were sitting.
talk about scary man. lol. i had my 30-06 but i was the only gun and i didnt feel safe with them baby bears up close to us and i had no vis on their momma.   talk about a big adrenaline rush. 1st time ever we were trying to climb that mountain. i see bears  every year and come close to them, but not that close LOL.

Just remember you don't have to be able to out run the bear.  You just have to be able to outrun the person you like the least :D

The intense nature of this story is negated by the lack of grammar used.

SORRY SIR BOSS ALMIGHTY ONE CREATOR ITUK OOSUK -grammer that.

I am going to change my ways of how i go out in the country and watch my rear ALL the time. just a second more and no telling what would have happen. Those cubs were pretty darn big to still be around the momma bear i think. this incident was too close in my opinion. Now when i go out in the country I will bring my gun everywhere i go. when were were just starting our trek up the mt. i left my gun thinking that we would not run into any bears UP A MOUNTAIN. I started walking away from the 4 wheeler about 40 ft away and my sis's husband asked n demanded i bring it. sure glad he went along with us and asked me to bring the gun.

Loosen up your panties, Raptor. Not everybody will have perfect grammar.

Glad everything turned out alright. Never had an experience like that but a friend of mine did along time ago. They also made it out ok, but till this day when he tell the story you can actually see his face getting a shade whiter.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
