ok....i'm a cleaning fool tonight. found a couple old cameras. one, i'm told was my grand pops.........it's a polaroid 320 it looks in pretty good shape. i don't know if it works or not.
the other is a pentax zx-50. this one has a 35-80mm lens on it, and a 80-200mm lens. again, i don't know if it works......if they do, are these things worth anything? i mean....do people collect stuff like this?
The Polaroid 320 is also known as a Land Camera... They're unfortunately not worth very much.
The Pentax zx-50 isn't really worth much either, but if you like taking pictures with film, it's a decent camera and might be worth just using.
There are folks who collect cameras, but as mentioned before they tend to be more interested in the higher end cameras like the Leicas. Medium and large format cameras can be popular among collectors as well. What you have are two cameras that were pretty popular (meaning lots of them out there) and were marketed more for the consumer market (meaning not the high end).
If it were me, I'd stick a roll of film in the Pentax (and batteries if it needs them) and see if it works. If it works and you don't want it, you might be able to get $50 for it from a college student who needs a film camera for a basic photography class.
