The video cards a little weak.  You may want to upgrade it or add a second in SLI.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

They are already in SLI, it's the default setup from what I saw.  Just to upgrade via Dell is insane it looks like.

The price tag is extreme (1600+), but to answer your question Squid, yes it would run AH well.

you can probably get another computer that is just as good but not as expensive  i see it ranging from 1200 micro tower to 1800+.  that puter should run ah nice, but it may be just overpriced. just to give you more options look at this website.

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

one thing is the mobo is not listed, also make sure the cpu is the "k" model which is more oc than the regular which is limited to 3.9 (I believe).  those cpus are so easy to oc that you should pay for them to do it, but you gotta have the right mobo.  I have never seen an alienware computer, so I dont know if they can be upgraded with components availability from a different manufacturer.

also you can easily build it yourself, if you want to, but a lot less with better components.  my computer plays with everything maxed out and I dont think i spent about 900 to build it, then 500 to upgrade it to what I have now (less 300 that I sold my old parts for).

My almost six year old computer, with a $100 video card bough last Dec, runs AH2 at near max settings with no hiccups, though my screen is only 1440x900. I just don't have shadows maxed.

AH2 is pretty light on the system requirements.

The best money can buy is certainly not a Dell.  2TB of HDD isn't all that "impressive" anymore, think they have 2.5TB single drives (no sure of the max anymore honestly).  I use a 1TB drive and despite being over 1/2 full, I would see no reason for 2TB for a long time.

As Karnak said, the game isn't all that intense.  It requires a good CPU, and a half-decent GPU.  GPU power is really only pushed once the shadows come into play since they take so much VRAM.  If you plan to play other intensive games though, that GPU is lacking, even in SLI.

A new generation CPU at ~3GHz, a New ATI 67xx/68xx or NVidia 5xx GPU, 3-6GB of DDR3 RAM, ~500-800Watt PSU (depending on GPU's') and you should be set.
If you're unsure of anything, just run it through it here like ya did and people will do their best to help. :)

2 tbs hds will only cost about 130 for both at new egg.  that computer looks impressive but it's a bit overpriced.  make sure if you do get it that it's not a micro tower.

It's a Dell now.
My brother bought an Alienware a few years back, had numerous
issues with it.
I bought a lesser expensive Cyberpower, got a better Rig.
Now, to get it straight. Right now I have the money  Or,
Now if I can talk Mom into financing :headscratch:

"Dude, you're getting a Dell"...I hope not.

Alienware was a great choice when they were building them on site down in Miami and before they got to big for their britches. In the last 5-6 years they have dropped off drastically in support and especially since they were bought by Dell. For that much money build it yourself and save the extra coin on a nice dinner for a girl.

On the other hand IF you were getting a laptop for work then Dell would be a good choice.

Do you like that resolution?  I was thinking of backing my resolution down some, so I can run more eye candy.
