Do you like that resolution?  I was thinking of backing my resolution down some, so I can run more eye candy.

You need to run your resolution at your monitor's native resolution (if it is an LCD) if you can.  By trying to display a non-native resolution it can distort some things which would make your new eye-candy look funky, thus negating the purpose of it all.

No, but my 1920x1280 monitor died and I haven't been able to afford a replacement. :p  1440x900 is the highest my backup screen will go.

I agree with Tigger.  Reducing the resolution doesn't make the eye candy worth it.  I'm going to stick to the native resolution as advised.
