No Like most movies like that I'm sure they have a sequel in it at the end of the credits Like Iron Man did.

First Iron Man, introduced the man with the eye patch at the end of the credits, thats why in the 2nd one he knew who the man was already.

As I said, stay after the credits, if you dont lets just say you will miss quite a bit of stuff.  In a way...a trailer....Again, something about a certain team.

Saving Private Ryan? Also, many Pixar movies. Don't just ride them off as being a kid's movie just because it's animation, remember, Heavy Metal was animated, and it sure in hell ain't no kid's movie.

Yup...  With my huge TV, surround sound, and really comfy couch, I can get the theater experience without the ridiculous ticket price, $20 popcorn, and have the ability to pause the movie if I need to pee...  The only sacrifice I make is waiting a few months.

I really can't think of a good reason to go to a theater.

For those of us who like to see movies in the theater, in 20 years there hasn't been a post like yours worth reading for free on a BBS.

Besides I heard there were some pretty good moves in Black Swan.

Well normally I would agree that seeing movies at home is better and it usually is...but this summer has been the summer of movies for me and my boys. I took my three kids to see Captain America yesterday for my birthday and all three of them really thought it was great. I liked the fact that there was very little in the way of foul language and it was easily the best of the four movies to prepare you for the Avengers next summer!

Which SHOULD BE GREAT!

Bah.  Going to the movies on Saturday night is part of the American Experience :aok

A home theater is nice and all, but there's no duplicating the "theater experience" of going out to the big screen.  The sights, smells, sounds spark a little nostalgia, plus its an actual "event" to go to, and not just another night on the couch.

Also, while I suppose if you are dragging several kids along it could get very expensive, a movie date these days is a cheap date compared to many other options.  I'm not sure what secluded island you're living on that popcorn is $20, but it's nowhere near that here. 2 tickets to a 2-hour movie, a shared popcorn and 2 drinks will run you about the same as 45 minutes, two dinners and an appetizer at a chain like Ruby Tuesday's or Chile's, or an hour at an arcade.
