I wouldnt go so far as to say bombing tanks with buffs is uber lame. Certainly the carpet bomb was not my intention. I would have much rather used one bomb at a time and get more kills. Just forgot to change my salvo. People just done seem to get it. Although it is a cartoon war, its still war. The object is to kill cartoon pilots and tanks and take bases. So if people want to use buffs to drop hangars and then drop alt to kill gv's so be it. Its all in support of the teams objective.

  I just think its funny that people try and dictate how they are to be killed. Die hard tank guys think they should only be engaged by other ground vehicles. For someone to drop a bomb on their heads is "bad sportsman ship".

there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with using Lancs to dive bomb GVs.  You guys are in a MMO GAME, not a historical war simulator (special scenarios are created and run by the community for that).  In MA FFA the object is to kill or BE KILLED.  Play the game and die like a good sport.  Whiny crying drunk little hating Cretans do more to harm the game than any other force.

Next time you get a PM like that, have the person point out in the rules were it explicity states that you are not allowed to bomb GVs and let "tanks fight it out" then let them hear the whistle of your bombs as you drop on them.

It's the main arena and the players of the opposing sides are legitimate targets, whether they be in an airplane or in a tank and if they don't want to have their tanks bomb then they should think about bringing some AAA along for the journey.

killing GVs with a formation of Lancs is very gamey, and certainly not classy.

It worked for the Allies during Operation Cobra, whats wrong with players doing it?

I think I'm entitled to an undisturbed GV fight.

Then go to the DA and use the GV area for your undisturbed fight.  In the MA, you're a target...get used to it.

We had the town white flagged and troops were in bound and he was the only one with eggs.  Other pilots vectored him into where the GV was camped. He did a great job!

I mean, it's not like you vulched someone while they were landing or anything...LOL

I will dig up the last "read me" file from the last AH patch and see if there are "rules of engagement" posted in there. Im sure I wont find any, but until there are rules, stop sending pm's when you die. It just makes you look like a child.

I will say that's why i would like to see a small perk cost on bombs.

A small price on the 1000lbers or 500kgers for fighters, sure, might get attack aircraft in use more.  A price on bombs for bombers, hell no.

 i thought "white flagged" meant that it was ready for capture? i ain't been in a gv in nearly a year. it doesn't float my boat.....but when i'm in aircraft, i leave em alone...unless it's someone i know, and i wanna piss em off.  even then, i generally die trying to accomplish that goal.

Whats the point of bombing GV's at a Vbase that only has a spawn into another Vbase? If you really don't care for the ground war, then that leaves a couple of options:

1) you died on the ground, and are now out for vengence (example: Cane)
2) you die in the air AND the ground, and so are forced to bomb
3) perks
4) you hate the red guys
5) you're helping out a friend
6) you're a "wins tEh wArsz!!@1!" tard

Only two that should hold any water are numbers 5 and 6. And 6 is markedly weaker than number 5.
