Sure was, here is an M3 during the Battle of Imphal.  They were supporting Indian troops.

I do believe that that film is German propaganda. the German higher-ups wanted to show the superiority of German armor, so they chose the M3 Lee. At the time this film was shot however, the M3 was already replaced/being replaced by the M4, in most cases

as for the M3 Lee I say +1 i think it would be a good start to try and get some of the lighter tanks in game. :aok

Remember heavier isn't always better, just ask any Tiger how much of a pain an M8 or an M3 GMC can be.

By that logic, we shouldn't have ANYTHING from the Early or Mid war.

sure man... the m4 was MUCHHH better then the m3 lee... you want a medium tank? we already have a good one...the m4s... why would we need an inferior m3 lee? so that leaves heavy tanks and light tanks... m8 rocks.. and the m3 TDs... so i guess that leaves the heavies rite? so thats why i suggested a heavy rather than another medium... and amongst the medium... why not a pershing? or even a much faster lighter tank the m2? or the churchill??.... right now we have all german heavies... tigers, panthers, but not 1 single allied heavy tank... thank god for the m4s...

but this is just my take on things... no harm rite?

Both M2 tanks were outclassed by WWII. The M3s replaced them.
