August FSO: Decision at Dunkirk
« on: July 24, 2011, 08:02:08 PM »
Greetings, I've been away in Dayton OH for the Aces gathering of Legends and just got back this evening.

http://www.ahevents.org/fso-current-next-event.html

The next FSO will be Decision at Dunkirk set during the Evacuation of Dunkirk. Please read the writeup in the link above. Please note the Destroyer scoring rules.

Frame dates are August 8, 12, and 19.

Registration and Sides are open and will close the 29th of July.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I agree, I don't think I myself have seen this setup before. Should be fun.

NEF - Looks like a good setup and should be fun

Anyway personnel can man the DD guns?  Thinking downed pilot option.

Also German DD and E Boats were in the area in 1940.  A little naval action with DD's and PT's gunning at each other would be fun as well.  Again thinking downed pilot action after H+60.

Couple of suggestions.  As witnessed in the Phillipine Phandango scenario, lower task group ack makes for more survivable torpedo runs by the Ju-88's

Love the Naval battle after the bombing runs.  Just like the aces score, a Command ship sunk score would be

This one sounds awesome  :aok :aok :aok :aok

I just got done watching Captain America.  I will have the 'code' to put the blue glowy stuff in my Ju-88's to fly even faster than the Spitfires.

FYI, "blue glowy stuff" is a technical term used as an industry standard to explain fast moving objects in the air that don't resemble a weather balloon or swamp gas. :noid
