Asus Xonar STX & AH
« on: July 25, 2011, 05:45:00 PM »
I used to have a creative X-FI sound card but apparently it had issues with AH so recently I picked up an Asus Xonar. How does this card perform with AH (I haven't received it yet).
Yeah, that's right, you just got your rear handed to you by a fuggly puppet!

I have no clue.  I have the cheapy Creative X-treme Audio.  It works fine.  Using SPDIF out to 5.1 receiver and it sounds good to me.
Do you have you AH sounds set to use Windows sounds?  That was a big issue for me.  I was trying to use EAX and everything
sounded terrible.

I have a Xonar D1 -- runs great with AH.  Turned off EAX though as I researched it was causing issues in various games.
