Well to be honest there were only 2 Atomic Bombs dropped, vs countless V1, V2 and Fritz rockets. Now saying this, the the big question is how do you manually aim the fritz rocket? Assume you have a plane in autopilot, how would you control the fritz?

V-1 and v2 I doubt will happen period, Atomic bomb would be out of the question as well.

and seriously... whats the diff between the fritz or the v1/v2? if you have the fritz... its basically going to be WAYYYYY easier to take cv down... or even hangers... from really safe distances is that what we're after? gonna get tons of people shooting and running... so for me... its  -10

The difference is the Fritz was a radio-controled glider bomb, but just a bomb. The V1-V2 were powered and thought to be unstoppable.

The Fritz, if ever added to the game, would require fundamental changes to the game code with how you can remote control or guide something from high alts down to a moving target.

I don't think I'd want to see it in-game, personally.

EDIT: Think of it as a precursor to the LGB, whereas V1 was precursor to a tomahawk cruise missile.

I was thinking of something along the lines of having to be in f6 mode and using the hat switch to control the bomb.  The joystick could control your view so that you can track the bomb as it falls.

Not high up on the list to be added, but seeing as this is the Wishlist forum, I figured it could add a new dimension to gameplay, add another perk option for bombertards and add a new Luftwobble bomber at the same time (one which would be good for scenarios).  Three birds, one stone ;)

A big difference.  Did you bother to read what the Fritz X is?  Or are you still at the stage of only looking at pictures?

radio controlled bombs for better accuracy? what wrong with the current buffs? why do we need another easier way to kill cvs or hangers? sure.. by all means implement it...but at least up the damage taken for cvs and hangers... still -10 for me

It is a FAR better wish than to have kamikaze...

As for the wish, I donno.  Add the Do 217 for sure though. :aok

V1 & V2 would be feasible. You could have them only at a limited amount of bases and aim them similar to how you do a CV guns at long ranges with no LOS. Course just like the real thing you would only be able to target a general area and not a specific target.
While you might get some hits it would mostly be a nuisance weapon. Which would be dependent on 1 part skill and 2 parts blind luck (1 in 3 chance of hitting anything)

Now to add to this idea. You could make these V1/V2 launch sites appear at random rearward bases which would change with every map rotation. This would give something else for folks to do. be it try to take down the V1's V2's in flight. Find their base of origin, And bomb it. By having the launch sites random for each rotation. It would give people something to look for. Until they were found either by recon, following the reverse trajectory or (gasp) spies. Their exact wherabouts would be unknown.
I'd be against making them at a static location because they would just become like the strats. Which loose their fun appeal after a few runs.
With random sites. Half the fun is just in finding the sites. But. these sites should also be uncapturable. But become disabled should an opposing country  over run their location and perhaps have a minimum rage they can be fired to (1 sector or greater?)

There should be a small perk cost to using them but a moderate to high perk reward for hitting something.
Taking out the V- Sites should be a small to smaller moderate perk reward. This would discourage people jumping sides just to take out the sites on the side they were just on just for the perks.
Rebuild time should be 1/2 hour or longer dependent on status of strat targets.

And no. this game should never get nukes. Neither am I keen on the idea of manually guided rockets/bombs
