Killing a TigerII

I would like to see who has killed one so far, and what you were in, and how you did it.

100 Perks?!?!?

So a Tiger II = a B29? How does that work?  :headscratch:

Well great, more toys I can't afford to play with.  :(

Well since I can't drive a Tiger II I'm going to up some B29s and dive bomb them tonight and ruin everyone's fun.  :D

Did some testing, killed a King Tiger from the side at 1600, pretty much what an M4/T34 has to do to a Panther/tiger, now thats in a Panther so good luck getting an m4 closer.

I consider 1600 to be close-medium range for a Firefly.  Would be interesting to see how it hits the Tiger II at longer distances.  Thanks for the info Butcher.

For purposes of aircraft cannon, most of all the IL2, here are the top portions you have any chance of penetrating.

You'll have to come in steep and get close. I set convergance for the 37s at 250 or 200. The biggest target, and all the yellow is 40mm thick armor, is in the front of the roof and under the mantlet. A frontal attack may actually be your best bet. I'll try to get all armor thickness diagrams done in a few days.

Does anyone know if vehicle armor is coaded for individual weak spots?

example is a 20mm roof a "solid" 20mm roof  or is the hatch a weakspot etc?
