CAP congratulations.  I'm sitting at 101K miles on my 05 and they can't get me out of it.  One of my clients is a ford dealer and they want me in the 12 so bad but I just love the one I have so will sit tight.

One of the best cars I've ever owned, and I currently own a porsche boxster, toyota camry, chevy van and the stang.

Just for grins, here's that Busa I was talkin about.   :aok

Check out that NOS tank!  Also has a thumb operated air shifter, stretched swingarm, custom ported and polished heads, digital ignition controller, custom gearbox for the drag strip, and many more upgrades.  It's by far the sweetest bike I've ever had the pleasure of taking a ride on.  At the strip, he subs out for a slick and wheelie bar.   :O

Congrats Cap, after I drove the new 5.0 I was hooked, but being in my 30s and considering the M word with my girl, a new 5.0 is out.  So I'll stick to my Lightning for now.

Shuffler, I'd race ya...if we weren't 2000+ miles away.

in other news......got the call today i was approved for the loan, for the 012. the interest isn't as low as i'd like it, but then like i said, my credit's not what it should be either. payments should be affordable. i'm just waiting now, to hear if the dealer they were getting me the car from still has it. if they do, i'll be drivin something nice for the first time in many many moons.

Congratulations!  My credit wasn't anything to write home about so I wouldn't give up on getting the promotional financing just yet (1.9% to 60 months w/ the incentives which is 1500-2250 off depending on your 750 Ford cash coupon)  Kick him back into the finance managers office, make sure they know you're serious and see what they come back with :)

I think the nice little old lady at Ford Customer Service yesterday got the VIN wrong (after repeating it 8 times it seems) and I verified through 2 sources that mine was loaded on a train car for transport today.  Due 8/20.  2 months to the day from time of order.  Fingers crossed it finds it way here swiftly and safely.  I'll have to come see yours and throw some 3.73's in mine!

He's asking 8k for it.  I imagine it'll sell at that price.  My cousin is a freak when it comes to his vehicles.  It has to be spotless.  You should see his stretched nitrous Hayabusa...  That thing is INSANE!

at that price, that thing should sell VERY quickly.  :aok

My cousin's Stang.  1000 miles on a new motor, supercharged, fresh paint, etc.  Wish I could afford it right now.

I suggest searching online in your area for a performance car club of a mustang club. Then signing on their forums and posting the car for sale. Be sure to check rules and post it in the correct area on their forums.

Be sure to approach from the front or side. :)

If you go to any othe stang forums you'll find many of them even wondering what ford was thinking.

Have fun and be safe.
