bought most of my stuff new, except for the extras. my video card runs the game like a champ so i wont be replacing that until i need to.

Semp, you were right, didnt think i had that much wrapped up in this  :rofl

Well nothing in a tube lasts forever but AS5 isn't like say caulk. Keep the cap on it of course. I've had a tube for a couple of years in a cool place and just used the last of it on this current build. I think it says in the application guide that you can keep it in the fridge and it'll keep longer.

Also get the smallest tube you can find. I got the teeny one at a Radio Shack for around $11. Since you're only using a tiny dot at a time that should last you quite a while.
exactly why i was asking, newegg has it for 11.99.

nice puter.  i am thinking of replacing my tempest, but the damn thing dont give me a reason to do it.  I got it from TD a couple of years ago and it hasnt let me down, talking from the cooling point of it.  any case will last forever, but a case that cools your system and lasts forever not sure if it's a plus  :D.

I crank all my fans up on my phantom and my cpu temp drops 1 degree... for 5 or 10 minutes then it warms up again (probably because the heatsink isn't working as hard)

I think you just set up your cpu cooler, it takes about 2 weeks for the paste to set.  so you will be seeing lower temps coming up.  also  what are the temps on your cpu right now?
