Funny things that happen ingame

I had one incident of compressing that stuck to my mind as pretty funny.
I was divebombing an airfield, and my plane (a NIK1 if I remember correctly) started to squeak on its way down as I came way too hot.. I had trottled back, but was in a steep dive. I trimmed like a maniac, dropped my bomb and hit my target. Then I managed to level out just above ground in a total blackout, when the blackout tunnel opened I could see the end of a hangar right infront of me. So I aimed for it, and passed clean through.. But behind that hangar there was a hill. I pulled back till I went back into the black tunnel again, and followed the hill up ground level. Then half way up the hill there was a tree......

Funny - It would have to have been around xmas of 2002.  I log in and Goth says on Squad Vox: "There is a Knight CV that is out in the middle of nowhere, launching missions from time to time and it's pissing me off!".     I roll a heavy F6F and fly on cruise for about 1/2 hour.    Lo and behold, I stumble on the CV group.    I dive and drop ord.    Just as I drop ord a Mission upped.   I instantly got 26 kills and Channel 1 lit up.   I made it to wave height, but a puff ack took my wing off.

Funnier - Creating a 24 C-47 mission that stress tested the server for well over a 1/2 of an hour.

Funniest - Joining Wax and Morpheus's "Jabo Trinity TT to try and find TopGunz at his Knoll".    Morph and Wax had the hangars dropped which started the hornet's buzzing around the nest.    I'm over the Knights Hangar and see a Tiger I rtb'ing to the Hangar.    Wax says, "Jay, he shall not land".     I drop ord and FireHwk commences a 1/2 hour rant on Channel 1 that started by saying he could not land 94 kills.

After years of trying I finally pulled off the clipped wing P38.  It happened when I was level enough to still control it with rudder.  Almost made it back too but the right engine died and I didn't have enough alt, nor could I keep it with the other engine throttled back.  Ended up rolling into the dead engine into the drink just off the coast with home in sight.

But now I know for sure it flies with two good engines   It made for a good laugh for me anyway

That reminded me of the time this happened to me. It's been so long that I can't remember how I lost both wingtips, but I flew it back home and got kicked from the arena right before I touched down because the war had been won lol

One of the funnier things I've seen happen in the game occurred tonight. I was in the LW arena and upper a N1K to defend a base under attack from a cv. I climbed to about 5K and leveled out. When I got to the furball there was an enemy 262 diving in and out of it. So of course he's my first Target cause I like shooting down 262's. Once he realizes I'm fixed on him he turned and flew head on towards me starting at about 4K separation. He keeps on coming until I realize he's about to HO my N1K with his 262. So I put my sights on him and start firing at 1K. He pk's me with a tater but not before I de-winged his 262. But the best part was his whines on 200 complaining about the HO.   who HO's with a 262 and expects the other person not to fire. Especially when they're in a N1K Lmao!

Anyone else care to share funny stories??

Many moons ago I upped a Mossie to defend a base from an incoming attack.  My cohorts all headed directly towards the incoming raid, but I headed away to get altitude.  At 10k I turned back and arriving over the fight find an Me262 arriving from the other direction at my alt, way above my countrymen.  I know that an Me262 in the area can be a huge disadvantage as even if it doesn't kill anybody people are having to dodge it and some focus on it, so I go for the HO.  He accepts.  My stream initially misses to above and to the right, but I adjust and nail him as his stream hits me.

SYSTEM: You shot down 262guy.
SYSTEM: 262guy shot you down.
262guy: 200: I think you got the better deal there Karnak.

so the 20th decide "hey! 90perk 262s! we need to fly em for once!" so there we go the three of us (me wildcat and i believe rebel?) up into the skies to pick on the evil baddies flying around in a furball... wildcat and i spot B24s on the ocean deck getting shot at and say "FREE KILLS!!!" need i say more of what happened to the two of us?
after this happens wildcat and i are laughing and next thing you know we hear rebel's voice pipe up... "hey guys? guess what just happened..."

I went into WWI with a squaddie Kilroy, we spent two or three hours absolutely white knuckle. A funny fight had gone on for about 10 minutes until finally kilroy knocked my entire top wing off. On the way down I jumped into the tail gun and one ping head shot him. Nearly shat laughing, I crashed about two seconds after he blew up.

phatzo, that was a very memorable fight. I remember thinking "where did the guy on my 6 come from?" 
Then you laughing.        Now I know why there was a price on your head in FSO.   

I remember being in the DA with the Prawns and everyone chooses sides and EW planes to have some fun. I think it was 109f4's vs spit5's. Was a bit amusing when I blew through in my LA.   

One of my favorite things to do is resupply a badly damaged base. It always amuses me to get the ack back up as the enemy M3 and troops is rolling to the map room.

Was chasing flight of 3 bishop b17s at 34,500 feet in a me110 and heard someone say my name on range vox figuring it was a friendly fighter.

Then I looked over to the left at the planes I missed during my fixation.

It was a bishop 110 chasing a flight of friendly b17s at 34,500 feet headed the exact opposite direction.

Three different times I've "attacked" B-17 formations as they were flying toward mountains.  I stay just at the edge of their guns range to keep them tempted to keep firing at me while I watch them explode into the side of the mountain giving me three proxies each time.

I get a chuckle out of that one every time.

We were in the process of taking a rook field several months ago near the center of the map.  While we were fighting in the air some knight brought in an M3 and claimed the base for himself.

That was me!!!!

horde attacking an undefended port,   

was all down by the time I got there in a jet,   saw low Lancs piloted by demondog.    Killed one, turned away and looked at him down my wing.   He flies past the SB around 1k.   

Mitsu fires a shell from the SB through his wing when I turned to finish his last one.
