I don't recall the exact numbers involved but if memory serves Fishu had a pretty good run back in AH1 beta days.  I think he went a whole tour w/out being shot down,  100+ kills w/out losing a plane.

I had 23 in 1 sortie in my F6 a little over a year ago, without re-arming. Most were just vulches and people climbing out on take off though.

Kill streaks are too easy. How about the most single-sortie streak? No hotpads?

Except...

There's no reason to note these kind of records. It strips them of their context, and devalues them when you do that.

As for height, speed, etc, apparently AH doesn't model it properly above a certain alt. You can't really get up to 96k in an ar234 without gaming the game. You know the loopholes and you exploit them. Not something praiseworthy.

Too easy?!  whats your best then?  I've only managed 25 in a temp as my personal best.

thing with kill record is that most are just a bunch of picking and vulching.  record would be most killed while in rearmng pad.  or most killed while taking off in one pass.  or perhaps most gv's killed with a single bomb, instead of most killed in a flight.  hey b29 has a zillion 500 pounders.

Absolutely, most records are the product of the age they were set in.  Will anyone ever win the triple crown in baseball again? Or will another player ever have a 56 game hitting streak?  Getting 354 kills w/out losing an aircraft is a significant milestone regardless of when it was done.  It was also accomplished in an aircraft that was not exceedingly dominant in a single category like the 262 is now, if memory serves he flew the 190A8 primarily.

*edit*
I'd be impressed if someone got that many kills now in a 262 or otherwise, I just used the 262 because it is so much faster than just about anything else in the planeset and thus can do more to stay out of trouble with good SA.
