why would you want to hide ? seems kinda timid, allmost like running but not as fast  :lol

To pounce on an unsuspecting enemy, to escape a 3+ vs 1 that I can't outrun, to dive in and out of a base taking horde while goon hunting, to get to an enemy base heavy without having to drop all ords for a turn fight, or to get my goon close to the enemy base without having to turn fight a spitfire on the way, etc... :aok

 :noid

Don't worry, if I see a lone A20, I will not hesitate to engage.  :)

It would be cool to have say thick fog near a low port or base near a body of water like a geographic terrain variable. Wind blowing down a canyon makes sense or across a mountain peak would be cool too.  An idea for CV aircraft would be a minimum ceiling to allow aircraft to be airborne instead of turning the CV into the wind all the time. High winds and really dense clouds all over might be one of those be careful what you wish for things though.  :airplane:   :salute all

well its a different type of rules that applies in that scenario.... we are all currently flying VFR( visual flight rules).. and very seldom or not at all, do you get to experience IFR( instrument flight rules) i mean, the added trill of flying into the beyond with really bad visibility on say like a rainy day with just looking at your instruments and maps... thats just my opinion...

Not the whole map, just occasionally at some bases.
