I just don't understand bagging on young people for lack of perspective.

My summer has been great.  New car, house full of Squids friends every weekend, spare money, life is good.

man you are lucky. id love just to get close to any WW2 era plane. the high point of my summer was when i went to EAA. thats about it. (40 dollars just to get in the door?!?!)

Wish I had pictures of it, but the camera box had a very small crack in the case and it completely collapsed when we reached about 80-90 ft. The corsair was at about 105 ft. so it made for a shorter dive than normal (Most of my dives are around 50-40ft.)

My summer....

Work overtime, family, house maintenance and repairs, and maybe have a little to myself before not getting enough sleep.

I miss the days of being a kid and not having a care in the world except for whats on tv

Google Toonami Aftermath, you'll be delightfully surprised.

Hmm...

-->Volunteered at a music camp, played viola and violin. 28.5 of 40 hours complete :D
-->Volunteered at a church thing--helped little kids out
--> Chilled at home for a week or so, played bagpipes, some tuba, started working on a trombone concerto sort of thing.
-->Went camping for a few days with my mum, dad, 3 siblings. Saw a bear, a moose, and a bunch of deer.
-->Home again (this is now)for a week, going out on Monday with my girlfriend, walking downtown oakville, the Lakeshore... :)
-->Might try and convince her to go to see Harry Potter 7, 2.0
--> Going whitewater canoeing in a week, doing the Spanish river.
-->All of this was interspersed with busking opportunities, weddings, a couple of funerals, all of which I made money-- $100-ish a pop :D Playing bagpipes/violin/viola.

It's been pretty good, actually.

Now that everyone is done looking down on and reprimanding Skoprion, how was everyone else's summer?

No... I'm in High School in Oakville, Ontario. Part of the requirement for graduating is 40 community involvement hours.
