Hmm...  Lots of reanimated dead things, lots of medeival hack/stab bloodshed.  Necromancers abound, lots of bloody dungeons with gore covered torture equipment in them.  If you so desire, you can wipe out entire villages single handedly.  Thievery, assassination, politics...

No bad language that I can think of though.  Oh, but there are some drinking and drug references, probably want to pass on it.

:D

Is it way too ugly for my 7 year old to play?  Any bad language?

Might not be a good idea. There's blood (not Left 4 Dead blood, but still blood), and there's some minor cussing ("Hell, damn"). There is one or two "revealing" female NPCs, but at 7 years old, I thought girls had cooties.  :P So if your son is anything like me, then probably not a big deal.

Besides that, just your typical dragons, undead, monsters, knights, vampires and werewolves. Nothing I'm sure he can't handle.

EDIT: Almost forgot, you might want to play the intro part for him first, or skip it, because there is decapitation. And don't let him play a 2 Handed Warrior because you can decapitate enemies as well (if you take a perk).  :devil

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

No bad language, well, at least no real obscene or vulgar language.  Violence though can be somewhat graphic with decapitations and some of the other violent finishing moves.  Personally, I think 7 is a little too young for this game but it's perfect for the dad.

Tough call....  Strangely, he loved the Jurassic Park series and was pretty miffed that Jaws wasn't scary.  I doubt he would pick up on nudity as being obscene.  He just does not see it as such.  Sexual innuendo would go straight over his head.  Any bad language is a bit of a no go though.

The bad language so far has amounted to "damn!" or similar curses and not vulgar or obscene in anyway.  Basically, PG language and there is no nudity unless you download a nude mod.

the only thing is the violence like someone said there is a decapitation in the beginning, and lots of killing through out.

I wouldn't let my 7 yr old play....but that's just me.

hell TV shows are way worse now a days.

20 Hours in and I haven't seen any sexual things besides the mentioned one or two revealing outfits. I'm sure "Hell" and "Damn" isn't that big of a deal at 7, he's going to hear it sooner or later anyway, you just have to keep constantly remind him that it's wrong and vulgar. Only thing I would worry about is some of the more violent part of the game.

I it'd be worth it for you to get it and play with it for several hours before deciding.

I've seen two decapitations; the one at the very beginning and there's also one (spoiler)        -------  as soon as you enter Solitude

I'm a battlemage with a war axe, almost 95% of my finishing move are decapitations, nice slow motion ones where you can really see the head fly in the air.

I'll be a warrior my next character. Right now I enjoy launching people across dungeon rooms with slow-motion bow shots.
No decaps with the bow though  :(

I have a barbarian with a giant war hammer. You smack them in the knees as they crouch from that you hit em in the head.

I like sitting in the dark corner of a room and then shooting one with an arrow, and then another etc etc
