I'm curious when they started using those markings. I've looked into chinese markings on other planes (P-38s, etc) and most of those were post-war gifts or whatever. Considering how close July is to August 14/15 when hostilities ceased, I'm curious about the background and use of the P-51s in chinese roundels.

The polka dot is a composite squadron so I would say good on that the others though?
