A while back the most popular TV show in the world decided to have some fun while driving Through Alabama.

The challenge was:  Decorate each others cars in order to draw maximum attention to your Co-hosts.  Bonus points if anyone gets shot or arrested.

Yep and they picked the wrong section of the state to do that in as well. You don't drive through that area all rigged up like that and not expect something to happen or at least begin to happen.

Then again, they were looking to get a rise out of people.

Worse for me was when the U.K. guys gave their cars away in New Orleans - someone threatened to sue since one of the cars was an '81, not the '82 they claimed (but the problem could be made to go away for, oh, say, 20k), then guys in a pickup with rifles told them to get off their street (none of this was on camera).

They got their visas yanked by the state dept for that.  They had no idea what they were getting into until it was too late.  The welcome to alabama sign full of bullet holes should have been more of an indication to them.

I have no idea where they found that sign. We have some pretty stupid people in our state but that isn't something that most people I know from that area (I have several friends from that part of the state) do not act like that unless provoked and they certainly don't just ride around shooting signs the the heck of it.

Naaa we don't protect our village idiots or towns of idiots down here Shuffler. We have to protect the people that go into those areas without reason of being there.

Stupid folks are protected in the whole US. They breed and produce more stupid folks. At some point we will have to let nature take it's course lol.
