Heat wave is over?
« on: August 10, 2011, 12:33:35 PM »
Been a good five days since we saw 100 F temps.  Monday, we have 70 F temps till about 1:00 in the afternoon and next 10 days will be 80s and mid 90s.  Now we are finally getting rain after a long dry spell of 2 1/2 months.

Between 40-60F degrees and I'm happy.... why does PA have to be so hot during the summer?

+1 :D

Still no rain or cooler temps here although we did at least get some cooler outflow from the storms just east of here last night. Wasn't much rain falling out of them though and the lightning from the storms started at least 4 different fires that I knew of. Might as well not even form as they cause more harm than they do good..

Originally said a high of 73 for us up here, but the rain cleared out and now it's 86.  Still not as bad as the 112 we had a few weeks ago, but it's no 73.  I shouldn't complain though, enjoy the 80s.

I dragged the cooler weather and rain from Washington when we left on the 27th. We towed it with us when we drove through Kansas on the 7th and 8th. You are welcome.

Right now we are hiding from the heat in Louisiana. We seemed to lose the weather change in Eastern Texas, sigh.
