He was a lone Knight venturing deep into Rook territory looking for a fight in his Fw 190 at about 20k.  I was a furballing La-5FN dweeb who was taunting him about climbing and running.    

After he killed me once, he gave me a hell of a dogfight, at extreme risk to himself.

Vulcan was VLCN in Warbirds beta days (CK) and beyond, he's a great flyer, great guy to hang with, and an honor to wing with when you have a chance...I too salute my long time friend Vlcn! <S>
