I wish HTC would take the map down and fix it.  I never have understood why they don't put any effort into new maps etc.

There is NOTHING wrong with the maps.  Anybody who sees that has lower graphics settings.  I used to think the maps were screwed up too.

Your graphic settings are low, it has nothing to do with the game dude.  You have detailed turned way down.  I used to have a crappy computer too.  Ask Santa for a better graphics card.  

ummm your wrong i run 3 cards sli'd, maxed out settings on everything, its a exploit i recorded the whole thing. i sat there the whole time it was diving underground , just going to email the film in this crap as to stop.

Low graphics settings don't create islands. They extend shorelines (especially on ports), but they don't create nonzero-height land.
