All this time I've been stockpiling ammunition to fend off a zombie attack when I should have been preparing to fend off a flash mob.  Oh well, never too late to start preparing...

Hey, it's only a problem when it happens in Center City.

A couple of my favorite ladyfriends live downtown.  I have a .45 with 15 rounds on my person and drive a couple white-boy-mobiles.  Not good odds.  Any reason to order more ammunition is a good one.  Better get some more .45's for good measure also.  (click, click.)

Nutter finally got a pair!
I'm glad they are taking a hard line now, it's ridiculous.

They have been talking about it for a while.

Finally time they enacted it.

Now, if the city only had enough money to pay police to enforce it...

i find 9 pm silly, theres different ways to prevent "flash mobs"

I find that duct tape and closets work well on unruly children...

We had a few months of bad wilding. The summers heat seems to have slowed it, plus business is business and wilding isnt as profitable as slinging dope on the corner.

Here they run up and down our most popular beach, stealing yuppies bicycles after throwing the yuppies into the Lake. Then they move over to the main shopping drag and steal, rob, and beat complete strangers down in the street. Hundreds of wilders at a time. Certainly didnt help retail sales.

I guess the kids didnt know MacDonalds was hireing.

Been a lot of it going around here recently...  I wouldn't really call it a 'flash mob' in the old sense.  But yeah, basically a bunch of idiots practicing strength in numbers lighting assaults on people and stores trying to loot as much as possible and hope not to get caught due to the size and number of people involved...

....wait for it...  wait for it....

So kids are getting arrested for .... dancing?

Sounds like a movie.....

Nope. Sounds like the definition of a "Flash Mob" has changed.

Nope, I'm wrong again. Apparently only in Philly are there violent Flash Mobs.  http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/25/us/25mobs.html

why are they all black?

wrongway

they may be calling them by the wrong name, but these things have been going on in philly for a couple of years. a couple of my friends have "met" one or two of these mobs. one of em managed to fubar a couple of kids, before he decided it was best to egress.

i fully stand behind this, and can't wait to start reading all the "my boy?! my boy would NEVER do nuthin wrong" comments. they'll come from the parents of kids that more than likely just helped beat the crap out of someone.
