1/48th Aeroshell AT-6
« on: August 14, 2011, 09:07:34 PM »
So, my 12 year old son bought a 1/48th AT-^ model after seeing the Aeroshell team at EAA this year.  He's not content with the standard paint and decals in the kit, and has his heart set on doing it up with the Aeroshell colors...

Anyone out there know if/how I can get some appropriate decals for it?  I haven't been able to find any so far.

One option we're considering is making some decals on our own with a printer and some clear and/or white decal paper.  Anyone done that?  Have any pointers?

Thanks!

Found this link for something that might be useful. Also if you find useful graphics a Hobby shop might be able to help or if you get a decal sheet try a printer or office supply to make inkjet print http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=492296

That looks like it'll do wonderfully!

We'll just size it to fit his plane.

Thanks!
