just seems like theres so much you could do with most set ups and some GV's. But ah well, can't do anything about it.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

Tank,  just to keep you informed,  We do offer a GV only event once a month. Take a peek at www.AHevents.org and look up HMS. SGY and Marshal put on some really good events.

As for GV's in scenarios, they are always discussed, but it also depends on the design itself. As stated by a couple of guys,  AH n itself is about the air war, but HTC does give us the ground element, so it is included when it truly feasible.

I know, some setups won't really work with GV's. And I'm not complaining about the number of scenarios with GV's in them. Just asking for some in the next one.

I'd recommend you look into what went into and came out of at least the last two scenarios that had/have a GV element to them before you volunteer for the unknown or attempt to kick up too much dust on this issue, Tank.  It has been a bit of a challenge to effectively coordinate and effectively offer a rewarding value to those participants sacrificing their time on the weekend to participate.  With many lessons already learned on this matter already, it has still not been satisfactorily refined for multiple reasons, but it can be done at times when certain factors align (map, available vehicles, not "too" much air-to-ground, etc.).  It doesn't take much to offset the difference between a setup GVers love to participate in with one they almost feel abused or as nothing more to the effort than plane food, and the later often discourages participants from ever returning from the others.

I wouldn't mind seeing a GV element in scenarios that would start say T+60 or 90 for the simple fact that it would give something for those who have lost all their flying lives something to do instead of leaving the arena.  I know some can gun or man base guns but it may be something that would stimulate more scenario participation.  Just a thought.  A big thanks to the scenario team for all your efforts.
