Anderson Silva is 6'2"..........so how tall are you talking about before a person's ground or submissions game is useless?

Long limbs are good for catching someone in a body triangle to control them and take thier air or grabbing a switch when they are attempting a single leg on you........as well.....it's easier to attempt a kimura from the guard.

Silva......by far one of the greatest fighters today, that guy is insanely smooth in his movements, definitely reminds me of Bruce Lee.

Mir huh...I like Mir but he is now way near tops

my list of top mma fighters

Anderson Silva
Vitor Belfort
GSP
Urijah Faber
Andre' Arlovski
Mike Swick
BJ Penn

there are a lot more but I think these guys

imagine me when my two top fighters fought each other....and Silva wins by a straight snap kick to the face...my favorite kick :O

Mir beat lessnar :)

seriously.......I watched that fight, Mir may have beat him "technically"....but he pulled a horseshoe out his butt, lesner pounded him the whole fight, until he made a mistake...and besides part dues Lesner corrected that big time and pounded him even worse.

I never said Mir was not good, he is and I actually like him,ut there are so many other fighters that are just way beyond him

also I think Lesner is "ok" got a long way to go, he is a freak of nature though.

Frank Mir is one of my favs.. Make a mistake and he'll expose it w/ his ground game. Brock Lesnar needs to go back to WWE or wherever he came from.

He was never a small guy. He had quite a real wrestling career in college before getting in to entertainment. And yes Mir did beat him but he got lucky. Lesner beat his donut the next time they fought. And Lesner cannot take a punch. He ran from Carwin during their fight to keep from getting punched.
