That's practically the worst possible 'fighter' that could be added to the game right now. All four other WWI aircraft are from mid to late into the war. As we have only four planes, at this point in time Eindecker would be a complete waste of development resources.

An extreme example. Would an online sim with four planes be playable if the planeset would include a Fokker Eindecker, Gloster Gladiator, Fw190 and a F-4 Phantom?

Hopefully the next fighter to be added is Spad S.XIII. Mid to late war first and the most produced fighter of the war and there isn't a single French fighter in the game yet, including both wars.

Im not sure of which WWI French fighter would best represent their contribution to that era, but I'll throw a vote in the box for adding the D520 in the WWII arenas.   :aok

That is a great plane...but completely useless.  It's going to get hacked from the sky quicker then a B5n

:huh the Eindecker was the FIRST plane with interrruptor gear, the crap that lets you fire through the prop, and have you heard of the Eindecker Scourge??  :bhead its a very historic plane and was the best of its time, besides, it stands more of a chance than an I16 or one of those Boston 3's,  :ahand oh and i think it WOULD be freakin sweet if they had a ".showf4" thing like the RV8 for the F4 Phantom in the TA LOL  :rock

-1, Wmaker explained why.
"Now, if I had to make the choice of one fighter aircraft above all the others...it would be, without any doubt, the world's greatest propeller driven flying machine - the magnificent and immortal Spitfire."
Lt. Col. William R. Dunn
flew Spitfires, Hurricanes, P-51s, P-47s, and F-4s

Youre right, it was the "FIRST" fighter plane in history. It was insane effective against planes armed with a .....   pistol. The first generation of allied fighters swept it out from the sky.

SE5a would be better.
The current 4 planes are mid to late war a/c.
The monoplane would not be able to compete.
oops  WMaker said same thing.

psst, all the planes in our WW1 arena fire through the prop.  They are not the "FIRST" they just happen to be superior to the eindecker in every way.
