Yeager may have had a long and valued career, but most of that was post-war. His P-51D in WW2 wasn't very important nor very colorful. It just doesn't stand out in most regards.

So, sure because the name of the guy who flew it... maybe... but by itself? I find it boring.

EDIT: I definitely want to say this is just my opinion and you are free to yours. Not trying to step on toes, just looking at the skin objectively. We already have at least 5 P-51D skins with red nose spinners. Some with red spinner and red rudder as well. It's not very distinctive compared to what we have.

If I was a betting man I'd have put money on Glamorous Glen, Flying Undertaker and Down for Double to run away with the vote.   Yeager is the most famous P-51 pilot (don't take my word for it; Google it), Undertaker is a sharp-looker with those yellow-outlined black stripes, and Down for Double just has that good guy-in-the-white-hat look to her.   It's real interesting how the voting has gone.

very nice choice of skins for the P51 I got the grim reaper for FSX I really tike that one alot  would love to find the others so i can add them too
