Interesting... I've not had a single issue with any gv not doing as I ask it to do. I hit W, it creeps forward. I hit W 4-5 times, it speeds up a bit more. I hit Shift/W and away I go to the races. Same goes for reverse. I've had no issues turning, aiming, firing, zooming, farting, or anything.
Maybe I will hold a training clinic on controlling a gv.

I've got clean CH pedals as well, occasionally have that '1st' gear problem. Turn engine OFF, turn it ON, calibrate all axis....USUALLY squares it away, though more than once, being stuck in first gear has gotten me killed

The new gv system gets me too. Doesnt want to leave 1st gear, downshifts on flat terrain,etc.

Only time I have any trouble is when I lean one of my feet against the pedals. As soon as I tap the pedals to center them, the thing takes off.
