Long story short:

I live in a community that maxes curbside parking at 72 hours before a vehicle is deemed abandon and can be towed.

I have been dealing with a certain vehicle whose owner played the cat and mouse game of merely rolling it forward or back a few feet every 48 hours to skate.

This guy made the mistake of using my property curbside for his shenanigans...I warned him that his actions would not fly in front of my house...and it would be costly...

He dissed me and said it was public street and that he would do anything he wanted...IDIOT...he obviously has never flown an AH Scenario or event under strict command and protocols...

I got sick and tired of his games and so did the parking people...once I convinced them of what he was doing (took two weeks dealing with bureaucrats to get them on board)...the game was over

A few digital photo's, my street video surveillance camera, and some corroborating testimony from neighbors was enough to cause action

They came out yesterday and threw 3 chock stripes on his tire in 5 minutes - his cob web infested tires...normally they stripe once every 24 hours 3 times to get to 72 hours
They were convinced this guy was a dirt bag scammer via the pics, video and neighbors who backed me up...

The guy's long term storage ride was towed to the impound today - he should have listened when I told him his ride was gonna get hooked and I was sick of his games

Locked and loaded in case he goes haywire over this...then again I pack loaded at home 24 7... so nothing new here

Victory....

Yeah stupid. I truly dislike people who think they need to be community police.

Parking curbside means you're a dirtbag now.

Poor Melvin (and poor Kilo as well)

To respond: yes it did mean something to me...I run a business that owns several vehicles that infrequently need the curbside space in front of my home/office...and at times customers bring boats on trailers to my home/office/place of business for the purpose of network/electronic upgrades...

When a scumbag / dirtbag guys play these games, they directly impact my ability to do business

I take deep satisfying pleasure that this guy is dealing with the hell that is an impound...hopefully he abandons the vehicle permantly to the impound process...otherwise...if he tries this again...he will meet the same fate

Not in my space....not in my yard...ever...follow the rules or pay the price

Deal with it personally.

Unless, of course, you are a dickless rat.

EDIT: Sorry Skuzzy. I pooped in your house and will accept the due punishment. However, I will give no quarter to a beyotch.

As far as I know property rights don't extend to the curb.

If i dealt with IT personally I would be in jail for a Felony

I sit in a warm fuzzy place right now that this "visitor" to our country was denied his ability to permanently park a second vehicle in front of my house indefinitely, by merely rolling forward and back every 48 hours, and thereby materially impacting my legitimate business activity

SCREW HIM...GLAD HE IS DEALING WITH HEARTACHE

It is rude and crude to park a vehicle that does belongs to you in front of someone else's house on a regular basis especially if there is room elsewhere, namely in front of YOUR own house or on YOUR own property.  If this vehicle is an extra piece of junk and there is no room for it on your own property or in front of your own house then get rid of it.  This is precisly the reason towns have codes like these.

I say WAY TO GO, oneway!!!!  That chitbag had it coming.  I'd have done the same thing.

Because I would be excoriated

I purposely avoided it and (against my judgement) used the system (which is typically a failure) to achieve an end
