The Focke Wulf 189 “Eule” as was known in the popular press was better known as the “Uhu” (owl) to those who flew it because like the owl, its appearance was deceptive. A twin boomed, twin engine with a central fuselage with many windows and a fragile look the airplane was maneuverable and capable of absorbing considerable punishment and still returning to base.

It first flew in 1938 (Fw 189 V1), entered service in 1940, and was produced until mid-1944. Not to be confused with the Heinkel night fighter of the same name.

While I would love to see this plane added, it would currently fill little-to=no role in AH right now.  I will go out on a limb here and say; The game will evolve to the point where this plane will have a solid use.  But until then, resources are better spent on other planes.

Either way, I will say +1 for it's eventual addition, if only to litter the landscape with new plane parts.

4x 50kg bombs, and 2x 7mm MGs forward. Glass cockpit, no armor, wooden parts in the tail...

It was a recon plane. Not a fighter. Not an attacker. If you want to fly around not shooting at anything feel free but I don't think we need to change the game design to accomodate it. You would need to change the game significantly (somehow) to accomodate this plane's role. Recons like this just don't belong for now in AH.
