Beefcake, Look for Bodhi in game he has a clan going and often clan members platoon up as well [-FW-] I haven't played in about a month, I sort of burned my self out grinding up to some decent tanks and It just seems so far to the IS-4 and T-44 from the IS-3 and T-43.
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.

Belial I think I killed you today.  :cry

Anyway you guys have gotten me hooked too. I downloaded it last night and so far I've put about 12 hours playing time into the game.  :x

Look for me as GenBeefcake, and if we have a clan/platoon going I'd love to join. I'm tired of getting my butt handed to me in the PUG games.

You probably did the game is set up for to never get ahead...I guess it could be alright if you had a regular team like on AH but as of now I hate the game.

It's hard to stop though because you que another battle just to see if the random computer generator will finally let your little 37mm kill something with less than 100 hits.

I've got enough points for the skdz38f or whatever or for the panzer3...idk which is better they both have 50mm upgrades.

But I'm just sad that there isn't 6,000 people running around in AH in a tank...you know how much fun that would be?

Oh yea and going from being a wrecking machine in a ah tank to cannon fodder is hard as hell lol

I've been playing since May or June. TEDpEMTp in game. I'm up to 39 tanks so far ( I may have a problem.) I'm up to the KV and T34 on the russian side, a VK 3001H  for the germans, and I've got the bigger sherman and a slugger for the US. But my favorite vehicle is the russian SU-26 spg, I've taken out many tier 6 and 7 tanks even some tier 8. I also have purchased the Lowe, Churchill, Ram II, and T 14. I bought those early when I still had only a few tanks and I wanted to try somthing larger.

Lol, the game is crack---they give you JUST enough to keep you trying for the next little thing...the people who coaded it must have consulted with some sociologists

What I think I like about it is it only takes a minute from start up to be in a battle. The battles generaly only take ten minutes and if I get knocked out early I can leave the battle, grab another tank and jump into another battle.

That's what I really love. And even if you get knocked out, but your team still wins, then you get the XP for it. The game really is like crack, fast paced action and no sitting around waiting forever for a battle.

the only bad thing about WOT is that you need a Golly-geen top of the line #1 computer just to see the ground. i hardly manage 15 FPS with all the graphic settings turned off.

The thing about WoT and almost every MMORPG/FPS ever made is grind. GRIND, GRIND, GRIND, an then GRIND some more.

I played during beta where they out free gold every day. For about 2 months, I got up to Tier 5, Tier 6, and Tier 2 in the RU, GE, and US trees respectively. If I put all that together in one branch, I'd probably be only at Tier 8 or at the MOST, at the very bottom of Tier 9.

Tier 1-2 Is where you get a  taste of action, because tanks here are your level and easily killed.
Tier 3-5 is filled with 88mm guns going against BB guns. The only you CAN do is scout, run into the enemy base and suicide, giving your artilery enough time to bring down their lasers.
Tier 6-8 starts to get even, but only SOMEWHAT, certain tanks (like the Jagdpanzer IV) is uterrly outmatched by IS and IS-3.
Tier 9-10 is what most people try to aim for, the point where you actually have FUN and no more grinding, no more retarded matchups, but then you feel sorry for the sucker who's matched up with you that still has his 88mm L/70.

After beta, when they reset everything, I just couldn't bring myself to grind all that again. Without in-game gold, you sit there for 2 weeks getting to a tier 3 tank and not even enough for a camo net.
If you have gold however, things run fine and you actually HAVE FUN, you don't worry about dying because you make up for it in credits earned.

Just another grindfest MMO, that have a great gameplay, but you have to sit there and grind for 1 month+ to get anything decent.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

it took me a constant grind of getting 13k credits for an AT-1 from the MS-1. and that was 8 hours straight last night. once you buy gold its smooth sailing for a good amount of time. but if you never buy gold (like me) its like winning 10 cents in the lottery...

You forgot to mention that if you are in a tier 4 light tank, leopard and pz38na to name the german ones, a lot of your matches will be against tier 7-8 tanks.  Your gun is less than a bb gun and you have armor made of toilet paper.  It's bad enough when you are on the bottom but it's a hell of a lot worse when the top tanks are tiger ii and panther ii.
