Played for about two hours last night.  Got my  .  I did get all the upgrades for the first german tank researched though.  Finally got my first solo kill in my last match of the night.

ive been killin shermans and KV-1's in my VK-3601 since april   once you get past the PZ3 your put into matches with tanks like the M7 and T29...tier3-7 are all mixed togethor i think. they really screwed up on the balancing.

I wouldn't even call it a tank. It's a tractor with a cannon.

When I first heard of the game, I assumed I was going to drive real tanks, not tractors.
IMO, the game should've started with tanks from Tier 2 like the M3 Stuart, or Panzer II.

Even then, by the time you start driving REAL tanks, Panzer IV/T34/M4, you start getting blown to bits by artillery and supertanks that were just prototypes during the war. Examples include putting a Hetzer against KV-3s and T29s. You're slow, so you can't scout. Your gun is like a wet noodle.

In other MMOs, at least you can actually DO something while grinding, in WoT, you sit there waiting to get blown up. Only until you reach T9 or T10 tanks does the game FEEL like the way it was meant to play.

Some of us new guys need to start platooning up and own some newbs in the tier 1-3 battles.

I don't even really enjoy the game but it's a nice break from AH as there are never any good tank fights.

I'm only up to the Panzer3 and the PZ35 or whatever but I'm decent at it, I just started running a TD AT-1 and thats my favorite.

I knew they wouldn't get that crap straight, why i was done when it went live. No way i was grinding back to Tiger, TigerII & JagdTiger again.

im past my VK-3601 and onto the Tiger2. im currently working my way up the chain with the M7 priest SPG but that is a grind thats even worse than having to be stuck with tier 6 tanks in a PZ-3. its only worse because of the xp you have to gain then the cost of the M40. i can easily kill a KV-3/1S with a few shots but the way those damn leopards sneak up and dont die from a single hit up close in the turret is screwed up. i wish that i could stick with the guys in the KV's/T29's instead of being groped by 10 A-20's

I know the clan I'm in (Chewie as well), has been running "grouped platoons" as we call it. We normally end up with two platoons in the same match, on the same side. It's fun.

man id kill to get into a platoon, but alas, someone has cut my pantaloons. meaning, my SPG's arent good enough to kill with the guys in the tier 8-10 class.

the AT-1 is hardly anything. wait till ya get to the SU-100. thats fun!

I will reiterate this again for all the new guys.

There is a combined AH group of players that all run together.  Anyone interested can PM me with your ingame name and I will send you an invite.  We run together every night and use a TS server for commo.
