They also dont seem to like other game's in the same WW2 genre as them mentioned on their forums.

Ive seen some posts that have been deleted simply because they mention another game.

Had a friend who made a Homefront topic asking if anyone played it or would like to squad up with him on there, it got modded.

dont know if this person goes on the forums or not here, But someone made a topic asking to have the ability to create custom skins for the tanks. In their topic, they mentioned how AH allowed its players to design skins.

It got modded too.

From the posts it doesnt look like their breaking any common rules (cussing/nudity/etc). im just really glad HTC arent like them  :uhoh

WOT is designed around folks paying for upgrades. That means the upgrades are all that is important. Fixing game issues like bugs are back burner. The money is in the more is better side of things to sell.

At least this is what I get from what folks post here.

Not my impression at all.

This is exactly why we (HTC) will never answer "When" questions.

If wargaming would stop droping the ball and fix the broken american heavy tree the game would take on a whole new meaning.

My question, before I go to the trouble of the WoT download and install, and trying to learn a new game, is this: Is this game designed 1st person or 3rd person? i.e. do you ride on and sit in, and fire from inside the tank, like in AH, or is it a 3rd person "arcade style" shooter where you see the game from outside, above and behind your tank, in a GV "F3 mode" sense? All of the screen shots I've seen on their page appear "F3 mode" - but maybe that's just the way the person wanted to show it and not how the game actually appears as you play it.....

If it's 1st person like GVing in AH, I'm game....... but arcade style, I won't even waste the download time....

its 90% 3rd person mode. once you go to max zoom your in the gunners spot, but those are all the same when it comes to gunsights.

To be honest it's somewhat arcadeish, however, that's what makes it fun. Since you can download and play for free I would highly recommend trying it, if you don't like it you haven't lost anything accept the time to install.

Sorry Del, but the way this read makes it sound like WE at HTC would respond like that.  NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!  First off, I would get fired for responding to a customer like that.  Secondly, I like to think I have more class than to respond like that.  Thirdly, it does not make any sense to tell a customer that.  And last, but not least, it is just damn impolite.

Thank you Skuzzy. I have never been told anything near "Go F.O.!" if I didn't like it. No self respecting businessman would ever treat a client like that for making a comment. I would quickly copy & paste & put it everywhere I could, "& rightly so....."  :salute  not answering is a far cry from cussing someone out, & don't give people excuses to abuse others. We've all had bad days and didn't go postal on anyone, so they need to "Buck-Up!"  :old:

Just look at some of the videos on youtube.

The good ol' saying: "Don't judge a book by it's cover.", comes into play. You have to remember that you're not sniping some poor guy who is trying to spawn at 1.5K out.

HTC got some of their GV ideas from WoT.

Ive heard some very bad things about the WoT staff.

One of my clan members on WoT sent one of the staff members a msg. Asking them why were they working on another entirely new game when there is still so many bugs in WoT?

The staff member responded telling him to get the "f" over it and leave their game if he doesn't like how they run it.

Many people have stoped playing the game due to how the staff treats people  :uhoh
sounds like BS to me trannis.  screenshot or it didnt happen.  lol

See Rule #4

Does it really matter?  Aces High is a high quality game.  WoT is a high quality game.  Both offer different things.  Some may like both, some may prefer one or the other, and some neither.  Its not about "superior to" for either.  I personally don't really look at the two games as competitors, as in my mind, they serve different markets.  If you want to play the ultimate WWII air-combat game, its Aces High, hands down.  If you want to go play some tank-based rock, paper, scissors, for up for 15 minutes at a time, play WoT.  We would all scream at HTC if they modeled their tanks the way WoT does, because HTC has tried to make their game reflect a high degree of fidelity with real life tanks that fought in WWII.  WoT is just a game, using tanks, that sort of reflect both real and imagined WWII era tanks, and provide a shoot-em-up type game showcasing the same.  Even when World of Planes arrives, I'll probably try it just to see.  I'd never expect it, based on my WoT experience, to equal the air combat experience of AH.  But, it might be a fun way to spend an hour or two a night.  Apples and oranges in my opinion...
