Got reccomended for president of local aviation explorer post
« on: August 26, 2011, 11:49:24 PM »
Today I got a call asking if I wanted to be president of the aviation explorer scout post in San Antonio. I had been a fairly active member, and they were looking for a new president. They said I had more experience than any of the other scouts, so they wanted me. I told them heck yeah, because the last 2 presidents ended up in the Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy.

Thanks guys  :)

All it really entails is lining up speakers and activities for the meetings. The second saturday is activity day, and fourth sunday is meeting day. I've had a couple ideas for speakers, and I'm sure I could find something for us to do as an activity.

I've been trying to organize a trip to Oshkosh, and I think I might be able to make it happen now.

The backup plan on saturdays is always loading everyone up in the planes and flying to lunch.
