2nd half premiere if I can be a jerk about it. Season pretty good so far.

In which Rory exhibits further awesomeness.  He is, after all, the new Chuck Norris according to google.

Rory's a lame-o, and as hot as Amelia is, I want her off the show.  They're turning it into a show about her, instead of a show about the Doctor with hot playthings tagging along getting into mischeif.  And does anyone know what they did to K-9?

Rory punched Hitler.  Rory shot a Dalek in the face...with his hand.  There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...a nameless terrible thing...one day it would fall out of the sky and tear down your world...and Rory Williams punched it in the face.

Oh, and K-9 lives with Sarah Jane Smith and was a semi-regular on the Sarah Jane Adventures, but sadly, Elizabeth Sladen died earlier this year, effectively cancelling the series.

I vote we give scorpion official biotch status  :neener:. JK, show can be hard to get into, I admit it.

First episode I watched was "Sound of Drums" which watched out of context is confusing as hell. Next episode I watched was "The Satan Pit" which only compounded my confusion.

Oddly, both of those episodes are two of my favorite now.

I still find myself thinking that it would be better if they still had David Tennant or that guy who played Destro in the lame GI Joe movie.

Matt stone just hasn't done the character as much justice in my eyes although I can't put my finger on why.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

that would be due to the fact that matt stone isn't the dr.  :devil

Matt Smith?

Musta been one of those Freudian things, I was typing that up while a Keystone beer commercial featuring their fictional spokesman Kieth Stone was on the tv.

Liked Tennant but Smith's real good I think. The previews for the rest of the season look pretty amazing.

The real difference is Moffat running the show. He's heavily into the mythology of Doctor Who and loads each episode up with more and more stuff.

Fast paced too. Whole thing with Mels (who?) being River took about 11 minutes. And we're bang onto the next bit. So it doesn't matter if you like one bit or not, always more stuff coming.

I think the best doctor was Tennant, with Eccleston being second. Tennant was more talkative and explained more, but I think eccleston's reserve was more in character with the Doktor.
