Ammo Loadouts in tanks. Take the T-34 85. Good at tank killing but holds very little HE with HVAP and AP. What i would like to do is select the shells i want loaded into my tank. I hardly ever use AP so instead i would fill that with more HVAP or HE. Is this even possible?

Not sure what's wrong with the load out system we have now, but the only tank with different ammo is the T34/85, not really worth to mess with.

Sure i'd love to see 60 rounds of HVAP, the M476 already gets its full load of HVAP so why not.

the crews would get whatever the supply trucks had on them, they didn't get to pick and choose.

ok yes, if you wanna get silly its a game for heavens sake.... but Im a crwchief and Im sure just like us the crews "got" what worked/needed.

you're a crewchief in a modern army without production delays, supply line problems or other issues...it's a game for heavens sake, so why advocate for something any sillier than the existing ammo loads?

yet there are planes in this game that were affected in WWII in RW by countless MX problems but work fine and are probably even better in here than in RW... it is a game, so what. If a Tanker wants to specifically select his ammo, why cant he?

Why would a tanker take AP shells when he can have all the HVAP shells he wants?

The tanks have a max number of rounds able to be carried.  It appears that HTC simply did a ratio count as to the number of HE vs AP and portioned the number of rounds available. 

I'ved always thought that tanks like the Firefly should not be able to have the same raito of HE available simply due to the role it played.  It was a TD pure and simple.

yet there are planes in this game that were affected in WWII in RW by countless MX problems but work fine and are probably even better in here than in RW... it is a game, so what. If a Tanker wants to specifically select his ammo, why cant he?

goody for you, it's silly. nothing wrong with the loadouts that are available now...just like the airplane loadouts

I do sorta wish for an option to Remove ammo from plane loadouts. Before takeoff.

Like, remove the 37mm rounds from the p39 before spawning.

Remove the .303's from the spits and just rolling with the Hispannos.

Remove Some of the ammo from the .50's in the b25's nose guns.


Remove ammo from various ventral dive bomber/bombers/110's guns.


Not asking for more of other types of ammo to replace the space created from the removal of the other ammo. (like, if i remove the .303's from the spit, Im not asking for the empty ammo space to be replaced with more 20mm rounds)

Just to remove some un-needed ammo.

And in a way its historically accurate. I remember watching a documentary on the p39 that stated some pilots found the 37mm gun so ineffective at air targets That they would ether not bother carrying ammo for it, or would just take the gun out of the plane to make it lighter.

Use search, it's been asked for. Recently too. It's neither effective at lightening your plane, nor historically accurate (in most cases).

Ever rolled to a base and said I wish I had brought all HE or AP. How about if someone drops sups you can change the load out to what is now in the hanger ie: if you took all AP you could resup with 50/50 AP HE or what ever shows in hanger
