whats "too high"? 1 perk? 2? also, if its only .15 perks then nobody would do it. you should probably think of the small things first.

if you want a scout then just ask if somebody would do it. they could just up a plane and drop a rocket on the tank or just shoot at it.
Oh yes, because turning a good tank fight into a bomb fest is the perfect alternative to what i suggest

@ dot, that would be for HTC to decide, and i agree with your last statement, but still. i used to do it from the heart, and i did it alot, which is why sadly i dont have any perkies to up any of the fun toys because ive been spotting so much.  :(

you obviously need to learn how to read things. i said if you want someone to mark tanks, they should use ROCKETS and GUNS. never in there did i say bombs. now, go to a real WW2 vet and say that bombing tanks was stupid and useless and that tanks should have fought tanks. they came up with the wirblewind/osty/M16 for a reason you know. if you want to end the so called "bomb tarding" then use these tools to keep them away.

I spot by crashing my plane into the tank while screaming "HERE THEY ARE!". :devil

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

From what ive heard the phrase "bomb tard" used, it counts for any explosives used against a tank.  So even if you used rockets it would label you a "bomb tard", from how ive heard it used.

go to a real WW2 vet and say that bombing tanks was stupid and useless and that tanks should have fought tanks

Real life =/= Aces high. In real Life you didnt have lanc-stukas, Tanks sinking Cv's, Shermans fighting T34's(except korea) Or many other various things in this game that makes it FAR from a true following of WW2 history.
Bombing tanks is effective, yes. But in a game where its hard enough to find a good GV battle, everyone hates it when suddenly a bomber shows up and kills the fresh new tiger tank you just upped.

And also, Who here is arguing the effectiveness of bombing tanks in ww2? Why you even said that sentence, i have not the slightest clue.

they came up with the wirblewind/osty/M16 for a reason you know. if you want to end the so called "bomb tarding" then use these tools to keep them away.
To use those Anti-air vehicles effectively in a GV battle, you need Many wirbles spread out among a mass amount of area, Because gvs in aces high do not move in any type of formation. Most usually go their own path.So the protection of wirbles become Very limited.

Second, I have never witnessed a Gv battle fully protected by wirbles. Upping wirbles doesn't discourage anyone from bombering, It just encourages them to stay away from wirble.

Scorpion, Why are you even commenting on the matter? Let alone trying to throw GV battle tactics? You dont even play online do you? I havent seen you online in Months, and someone in another thread said all you do is offline missions, So how could you possably have enough knowledge from offline missions to say the things that you are?  :huh

obviously bombers going stuka didnt happen IRL, if you want Allied tanks fighting Axis go to the AvA. kind of why its made and this GAME is made on historically accurate modeling of vehicles, not battles. if you dont have the brains to kill the "bomb tards" with a flak over and over again until they get discouraged you shouldnt really be talking. if bomb tarding in a game means your a noob then why did HT give us the bombs and rockets/guns to do that very thing? is it because hes not cool and cant fight in gv's? no. and ive seen VERY many GV battles protected by wirbles. when i was on in december of last year there was an amazing GV fight going on. i thought id go ahead and score a few panzer kills in a b25h. i get over there and theres a TON of flaks waiting for enemy cons on each side, they all open up and i leave with only 1 kill and half of my plane functions still working.

"if you bomb a tank in a game then you win. if you kill another tank in a tank you win. if you bomb a perk tank you win x2." thats how the game is these days. apparantly you have been bombed too many times and now think that bomb tarding isnt legal game nature and is now shunned.

Everything you say becomes nullified by the fact that you dont even play online therefore have no idea how current gv battles take place and are only talking tactics from vehicle discriptions of their purposes.   :bhead

Anyone else, Good or Bad idea?

Im pretty sure that:

1. you havent played for 10 years.

2. You still have no idea what you are talking about.

3. You havent fought many, if at all, GV battles.
Otherwise you wouldn't be saying things like "Someone bombing your gvs? up a wirble/w.e and prob solved dumby!"

Please move along, this topic is for ONLINE Gv players who Gv regularly and therefore have more experiance to share than yourself

get your facts straight before you talk.
my favorite thing in AH to do is bombing of cities, bases, strats ect... and gving. im 100% sure on what im saying. ask alot of people on how to stop a bomber from killing your tank and they will say "up a plane and kill it" or "up a flak and kill it" what other ways would there be? hmm?

you do know this entire thread has been made because you dont have enough perks to play with the big toys. stop being selfish and just go earn the perks the hard way.

Yep, nothing has changed in regards to tank tactics since GVs were introduced.  Spawn camping was the number one tactic 10+ years ago and still is today.
