Dukemskt - Col. Phillip Nagy, another member Andy rom Alaska and myself have flown out to spend the last few days with him in Washington. Duke was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer Weds of last week. He is fading very quickly. Duke worked with HT in the early days of AH.

Keep him in yr prayers. HT, if you'd like Donna's number, send me a PM. He does not have a lot of time.

Duke flew A-26Ks during Vietnam and had a very colorful post war career.

This is sad You may want to get ahold of skuzzy or something and tell them to tell Hitech, because he might of already left for his 2 week trip to ukraine, which he wont be able to see this.

On a serious note, its a shame how quick cancer can spread. 1 week and he's already looking at the end, hell be in my prayers.

Its the same one. The Simpits are still intact - minus some corrosion.

He's the reason I discovered AH with those. Very sad to hear of this.

I recall hearing that name many years ago around the WB community. What a shame.
