Have you looked through your event logs yet to see if something is happening just before the crash? See if you find a common event that is taking place each time the crash occurs.
Also, if you go into Device Manager, expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and look at the power management of each device. Uncheck the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
I never saw where you had replyed to anyone after you opened that thread
so did you by chance, go and make sure your USB powermanagement was unchecked , so that each USB device would not go to sleep if it was not being used ???
also, you posted that you are using a USB TurtleBeach headphone <---- this USB headset actually is it's own soundcard if I am not mistaken
but you also have a dedicated soundcard by Creative. Is it possible that having "2" seperate sound devices might be conflicting???
anyhows... let us know how you are doing whether you have resolved your issues or not with Windows 7 , etc...
