Have you checked in Windows to see if the mic is checked "on"?

Calibrate in windows first. Tune yourself in game and see if you can hear yourself.

Does your headset have a mute button or a "turn off the mic" button? Is it on?

Pep, to talk on specific channel use teh "t" buton on keyboard, to transmit locally use the "f12".

Try tuning the Vox channel to your gameID and press T to transmit to see if you can hear yourself. If that works, all should be good. If not, you have a little more troubleshooting to do. You might want to check the game options for Voice and make sure the correct mic hardware is displayed and possibly enable the Mic DB Boost.

Wouldn't hurt to test with a basic desktop mic to see if that would work. At least then you would know if it was the computer or the headset.

And I have to  :)  what's FH?
