Mine would have to be my Taurus Judge 3 inch cylinder, and 3 inch barrel, simply because that is what I carry concealed, I found a real nice bulldog outside the pants holster that conceals it nicely when I have my shirt untucked.  Yes I have the Texas Concealed hand gun permit.
The next would be my 1947 model 47 Winchester that belong to my grandfather
And then probably the .22 sears boys gun that my dad gave me for my 8th birthday.

Both the 30.30 and the Judge go with me when I go pig hunting, which in Texas you don't need a Lisence, and there is no season, and no limit.

I'm curious which ammo you load into it for concealed carry?   I have the Public Defender version of the Judge (shorter chamber, shorter barrel then yours).

I just haven't been very impressed with the guns performance at anything farther then about 5 feet, even with the PDX ammo.  I just feel like an Officers size 1911 in 45 ACP with 7 round mags provides more effective stopping power out to a much greater distance.

The first thing out is the winchester PDX1 3 inch, it has 4 discs and 16 BB's, after that is a Hornady 255 gr. hollow point. I alternate those, and if that doesn't take what ever I am shooting at down then I can beat them with the heavy bastard.  I like the 1911 also but I prefer wheel guns.  My wife doesn't like autos at all, and since we both have our carry, I wanted to get something that she was comfortable shooting.  The public defender is a great looking pistol, when I got my Judge, they had not come out with it, how is the kick on it?  Mine is not really that bad, if you are shooting the Winchester cowboy plinking loads it kicks about like a .22 Mag single 6,  but when you start loading some big loads it climbs pretty good, but is atoll easily controllable.  But jeeesssuuusss it is expensive to target shoot with, I am fixing to get into reloading, anybody got any suggestions?

This is one of my favorites...

It's a hand-forged Damascus blade made by a blacksmith friend of mine in a coal-fired, hand-pumped forge, and hammered and folded on an anvil.  These blades can run up to $100 per inch...  He made the blade, and another friend hafted it and made the sheath.

I'm not overly fond of the sheath, but haven't gotten around to making a replacement yet.

I won this knife in a shooting match with my flintlock rifle several years ago.  I had a choice of either the knife or a rifle.  10" blade, razor sharp, and nice and light.

(Image removed from quote.)

I've really weeded most of my weapons down to where all of the ones I have are pretty prized.  Rattlesnake-backed bows, flintlock rifles, muskets, and pistols, old shotguns, etc...  This would be the toughest to replace though.

True Damascus steel has not been reproduced since the 1700's so it is more likely forged crucible or pattern welded steel (which is still a hot, loud and laborious job) :P

O-1 tool steel is a nice substitute, however.  I almost didn't give this to the intended recipient, but I figured since I had put his family crest on the handle...  I may as well give it to him :)

It kicks harder then I expected it to, but it is pretty easy to manage for me.  My wife hates it (says it hurts her wrist.  I need to work with her on her grip), she would much rather shoot my Taurus PT92 (Beretta 92 clone).  If the People's Republic of Illinois ever joins the rest of the nation with Concealed Carry, I will most likely get her a smaller framed 9mm or .380.  Or maybe a 38 revolver, Taurus makes some nice ones.

the area i circled was for duck hunting, im not so sure if you can go squilling in there.

What the hell is a squill?  Tree rat is translated to SQUIRREL.  My prized gun right now is my 1922 Mosin-nagant, short barreled, blade sight with sniper bolt.  All parts are Russian but from all 3 manufacturers.  Myself of Nefari had never seen one like it, so I watched Enemy at the Gates very closely and found it's almost twin.  It is the gun Vasili uses as a child during the wolf hunt.  I have several old shotguns that I don't know the year they were made, one is and old red letter Winchester single shot .12 gauge.

Wow, your firearms laws ARE a bit extreme... ( i was just reading about them)   Stats say 1 in 50 Americans carry a concealed weapon.  1 in 15 Pennsylvanians carry a concealed weapon  :devil

Perhaps your wife would like the piece that my wife carries?   Ruger LCP

A .380 is certainly not a man-stopper, but when loaded with hollow-points, it is plenty to make someone reconsider the course of action they were previously contemplating with regard to violating my wife's safety  :devil

At just under 9-1/2 oz. with a total size of 3-1/2" x 5" x 3/4", it is just about the size of a stack of 3 x 5 cards and is the perfect purse gun  :aok

That is what I was afraid of, they also make a Judge like mine but in a light weight frame, I like mine out of all the ones I have seen the extra weight makes it controllable,  I would hate to shoot one ot the new pocket defenders.  They have a 2.5 inch chamber, and I think a one inch barrel, on a composite frame.  My wife has a Taurus 38 that she likes, but she does say that if she ever shoots someone in the house, they are gonna die, just because of how loud it is, and she doesn't like her ears ringing.  I hope one day the entire U.S. goes concealed carry, it is a pain in the butt keeping up with the can and can nots are.

Well almost, but not quite, but our gun laws are some of the best, for the actual law abiding, gun toting people.  Our self- defense policies are pretty nice also, and when defending ones property our laws are for the property owners, and not the criminals.

Yeah, they (finally) just amended our "Castle Doctrine" laws so that they now reflect what is essentially common sense, anyway :aok
